Hmmmmmmm....

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 18, 2007, 4:42 PM
No longer really using this DA gallery, but I do browse around for inspiration and to comment a bit. Still visit the place now and then, and I'm open for commissions and whatnot.

Not that I no longer draw, I draw MORE, just posting elsewhere ;)

Stuff

Mostly active on conceptart.org at the moment, though I do drop by at DA now and then.
I've uploaded some of my 1.5hr sketches for the daily sketch group to my scraps. (for those who don't know; new topic presented every few days, you are to depict it with whatever medium, keep it under 1.5hrs. I'd highly recommend it, great practice and fun), Though I've been participating for a while now, I don't keep all of it as they're only sketches ment for practice. Practice is all I do atm really, with finished works only every now and then, like the anima entry.
I still don't have a wacom tablet, procrastinating..

Anyways, will be off to Berlin for a week, then its time for more stuff.

Progress and updates!

Journal Entry: Thu Jun 14, 2007, 4:09 PM
No, wasn't quite dead yet. Just very little time for drawing and such due to college.
When I'm done with my exams in two weeks, there will be plenty of time for more updates.

I've been practicing digital for a while now and I can see at least some improvement. I've noticed that commissions, assignments and contests really get me going, so I'm looking for more of that. Also trying to practice the basics (anatomy n such).

I've got quite some 1.5hr speedpaints I'd like to add to my scraps, mainly done for the daily sketch group at Conceptart.org. (General idea: a topic is presented every few days, and you are to make an illustration of it. There are usually some guidelines and a deadline).
However, I can't find the option to add stuff to scraps. DA changed again? -.-

I'm also tempted to buy a wacom tablet. Costy stuff though (ebay and such an option?), so I think I'd better wait until I'm more familiar with PS in general.

Thats it for now, more to come!

New scanner and other stuff

Journal Entry: Sat Apr 14, 2007, 11:34 AM
Yes, scanner broke - hence the delay.. I also installed our new one today, and finally got to upload some stuff. I can't remember the last time a machine gave me this much trouble. >_>

Anyways, I decided to join the daily sketch group at Conceptart.org rather than doing a 1000 deviation challenge, because it's a bit more focused on your speed.

Also, at first I tried colouring my stuff in photoshop using layers. That wasnt much of a success, and didnt feel quite right. Hence I'm practicing on drawing/painting directly in photoshop now.
Being a little colorblind (red-green) proves to be a problem, I'm trying to work with that.
Aside from that, I'm trying to work with more media atm.

Too much to do, but at least I can scan now ;S

Hello again

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 6, 2007, 1:43 PM
First of all;

An apology to those who faved/watched/commented on my stuff, I havnt been able to spend much time on DA for a while, and I accidently cleared my message center, so it seems -.-
I've got some catching up to do when it comes to thanking them ^^

Anyways, I'm drawing again, though I need to practice a bit again as well.
If anyone has suggestions (would a 100 deviation challenge work? seems fun), you're very welcome ^^
I still draw slow as hell (trying to improve that too), but I'll submit something now and then ;)
