More warcraft fanart.

Maiev vs one of of Illidans naga.

I just wanted to draw some Maiev fanart at first, but it feels like I did a better job on the naga. I messed her up once had to erase it all, I just couldnt get her right.

The water looks rather messy because it turned out there were letters imprinted on the back of this sheet of paper -.-

Apart from that, I'm happy with the result, at least its more dynamic than my previous stuff.

Hmmm, hard to say at such a scale. The main problem IMO is not either of the characters but rather the way they work together, it looks like Maiev is standing on the naga, not rushing to him to open his belly with her blade. Her cape should be seen floating behind her, and her arm shouldn't be falling at her side.
So yeah, basically both characters are really nice, well detailed, there are some issues but they can just be considered as style. But the main thing to work on is composition.

Yea, I edited the size now, seemed it was posted low-res by default or something. Took me a while to figure out, but it should be better to see now.
And yes, I had some problems with positioning Maiev, still doesnt feel quite right ;|

And yes, the size is edited now so it should be better to see.
I tried to position her so that she had just jumped him, holding off his trident with her chakram, while he grabs her arm in return. At least, that was what I was going for >_>

If this is so, then the major problem is she doesn't look like she is making an effor. She should be in a position where her arm can actually exert a force on the trident to keep it away from her, while at the same time her legs try to push left so that the myrmidon can't throw her left with his arm holding her wrist. You may also have made her use her left leg to keep the trident away instead of her weapon, that way she would have been able to use her left arm to strike, whereas, with the current composition she doesn't really look like she has the upper hand. Since she is so close, I think it would have been a good idea if the myrmidon was opening his jaws to bite.
I sound overly critical, but really I like this picture a lot, this is just some advice.
